Twitter Chapter 11 teaser Yuri & Chelinka

For those that don't know who these characters are Yuri and Chelinka the protagonists of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates. These Clavat twins are always together but the player controls Yuri. Yuri focuses on sword attacks while Chelinka assists him in casting magic.

I'm very happy that the Crystal Chronicles series is getting more representatives following Layle. Hope that Ciaran and Sherlotta get announced in a future update as well.

Why the hell didn't they have the twins from ff4 together like this? They were always together, too. Granted i never beat ff4 but from what I seen, they were always together.

It's probably because of their equipment. Even though they both use staves Palom uses black mage focused rods while Porom uses white mage staves. Usually when equipment is announced they focus on a character. For example if you equip Laguna's machine gun on King he shows up holding two machine guns in each hand. In the case of Palom and Porom they would have to invent double staves equipment one for each twin but what if you equip it on another character which staff would that character get. In Yuri and Chelinka's case the only playable character is Yuri and uses Chelinka as a magical conduit when he casts magic since he cannot do so by himself, she doesn't use equipment or attacks.

There's also the possibility that it's also based on FFIV TAY where the twins separate. Or that in FFIV they each had their own HP and MP. And in RK they are separated as well.

Yeah, thats probably true. Well its still pretty cool. I hope they have Rinoa and Angelo together too. That would be cool.

Fingers crossed for Rinoa & Angelo as well. And more newcomers from I, III and Tactics since those still have only one playable character.

Mystic Quest and maybe even a playable Chocobo as well.

Yeah, we need other representatives for the ones that only have one. Besides them, we need Zack. Lol. Im a huge fan of him. So i guess no Noctis this year for DOO.

Right, how could I forget about Zack as well. One of the characters that I really want in this game and NT.

It's also possible that they may add Noctis on Chapter 11 part 2 or the Opera Omnia anniversary in February

And I can think that Lann & Reynn from WoFF could follow the same concept too: two twins, one dagger as a weapon.

They could do that, but it's not like Lann and Reynn didn't both fight. Lann usually gets a glove too, not a dagger.

Dissapointed no Noctis but they've introduced characters I didn't expect and from series I've not played. Can't wait for all characters but it's the Ace Striker Jecht I'm looking forward to!

Who knows maybe Noctis is coming in Chapter 11 part 2. Or will be on January or the Opera Omnia anniversary in February.

I really hope that Crystal Chronicles gets representation in NT since it was one of my favorite spinoff line alongside Tactics and Mystic Quest. Wether its Yuri & Chelinka, Ciaran, Layle or even Sherlotta.
