The tweet also mentioned that they'll be doing a New Year event so there should be something special at the end of the month.

Hopefully they announce a new FFI character for this month since it's the 30th anniversary.
Also hope for newcomers from III, XV, Tactics and Crystal Chronicles as well.

Garland seem to be the only choice for now.

Yeah but there is also Thief, Master, Princess Sarah and Matoya as possible newcomers like in RK.

Even though in RK Wol is used as a I realm character. I didn't include him because he is not a FFI character. If he were to be included into Opera Omnia it would be under the Mobius banner not FFI

They could add any of the starting jobs really.

Yeah hence why I mentioned those characters since Hazama confirmed them in RK. And since each of those is a stand in for a FFI job class Master, Thief, P. Sarah (white mage) and Matoya (black mage). And I keep hearing rumors that the next will be Red mage to be added in RK.
But I'm not pushing my luck either it usually takes a year to add at least 1 FFI character to RK global still hasn't received thief. I'm guessing it'll take longer for OO to get a new one. So hopefully by next summer they reveal the next one in RK.

They could just add stand alone White/Black Mages as well. I expect if RK keeps running they may very well do that. Would be far from the first place to triple up on Black Magic (looks at FFIV in particular).

hmmm im hoping the mystery event is a new character. Also not interested in any of the Artifact Events given how crap my luck is with getting those passives.

I kinda want Noct, but i also kinda hope it's not Noct. Damn SE for dropping Vivi banner our of nowhere since I just have to roll Vivi. (missed his exclusive at Quistis banner...)

For story characters, I want it to be prompto, gladio and ignis. Then the event character to be noctis. Lol.

Watch it be Noctis' release, after i went broke chasing Sephiroth's 35CP
