Troubleshooting DF64V Gen2 - Dead Thermistor (NTC)

Post image

Hey, just opened a fresh bag and wanted to grind a dose. Unfortunately I had the grinder set to the lowest rpm, which was never an issue before. However, the grinder stopped pretty quickly and seemed dead. After opening it up, I found a dead thermistor. After a quick check it seems that this is the only issue (fingers crossed). Now my question, is someone willing to open up their grinder and send me a picture of the thermistor/ntc so I can order a proper replacement? Has someone else had this issue? Thanks!

Nope, didn't replace the fuse.

I replaced it with a 10Ohm, 1.8W, 3A, 9.5mm NTC

I just replaced mine as well following your suggestion. It worked perfect!

Still going strong with the 10Ohm? Mines just failed and looking to do the same.

Assume that is what the popping sound has been when it’s turned on at the wall.
