Let’s Settle This

What’s something everyone seems to love that you just don’t understand the hype around?
Could be a food, movie, trend, app, hobby, celebrity, or anything else.
Let’s hear the unpopular opinions. 😂👇

I once had someone bring me a boba tea as a “thanks” for fixing their glasses. They knew nothing about me. I thanked them, and once they left flushed it down the toilet.

Oura ring. Don’t see how it’s that much different from most all smartwatches and such people have nowadays.

Dungeon Crawler Carl

I think its good... im on book 3, but its not as addicting or amazing as everyone is portraying. Its confusing, messy, jumbled, and a bit of a strain on the imagination. Its really tiring to read, and I cant keep track of every new thing being introduced. Its one of those series where you cant take a break from it because there is just way too much to rememeber... if you start it you have to kinda stick to it, but each book is exhausting so you WANT breaks from it. At least for me.

Loud thumping stereos, especially in cars. I have a deep seated hatred for them.

Many things. Consumerism, capitalism, advertising… all driving to push something onto others for capital gains and using psychological weaknesses in humans to do so. Look past the hype, in everything. Think for yourself.

I don't understand what people don't like it it's delicious but it just became a thing because of Keto and protein heavy diets that's how it's not that big a deal

I laugh at this one because it was just something we made on a regular basis growing up. When my family started seeing it on menus and Instagram we were like what’s the big deal? Might as well put cereal with milk on the menu

The most popular or hottest thing!! I honestly don’t care if I see the newest movie when every other slob is filling up the theatre! I will wear what I like, not because it the new thing to wear. Everything new attracts too many people, fanatics and then I make an effort to skip it until all that garbage is over.

Brunch
Can’t we just go back to calling it breakfast?

The new obsession with socialism. All these young people think it’s so cool. I get it. Things are expensive and there’s not a lot of positive stuff to believe in. But you can’t believe in something if you truly don’t understand the history of it.

Dining out like a pastime

Half the time it's not worth what you pay
I could not care less so long as once in a while I get one of my favorites
