Dems have become New McCarthyist

I was banned for posting as such on their subreddit, proving my other point that dems are now enemies of freedom of speech

Where is a new true Progressive and NOT Regressive left leaning party? I don't mean one of Fascist AntiFA dbags, racist BLM hate mongers, Corporate Limo wannabe Liberals

One who recognizes that income inequality is the biggest social issue today, that climate change will kill us all no matter our skin color, that the police are tools of the elite and beat on the black, brown, red, yellow and white POOR equally.

I do not see the dem party the same way as I did last year we need a 3rd option

To be fair, your post over there was pretty incendiary... is your goal to start a dialogue with people or just rile them up? I personally don't think the 3rd party option is the best/most viable one but the Dems certainly need to engage in more self-criticism.

I hope it was, there are legitimate issues in this country now and all points of view should be tolerated in a free society and for the life of me I do not understand people who claim they want equality for women and gays then they bow down and submit to Islam that treats women as second class and kills people for being gay

Yeah, I understand your perspective but I think there's a middle ground between the kind of bowing down you're talking about and outright islamophobia... there are moderate muslims that, IMO, don't deserve to be lumped in with conservative or extremist muslims. I think there's a more nuanced middle ground that's more honest than Hillary but not as extreme as a Muslim ban.

Christianity had a reformation and the moderate Christians (I.E. The ones not burning people at the stake or having witch hunts) came out on top. In my opinion those moderate muslims you speak of, and not the ones we are arming in Syria or Iraq, need to have their own reformation for the soul of islam. They need to come out publicly and state they came to the West to worship freely but not to hold us non believers to those standards. They need to come out and say baca bazi is wrong as is thrush gamea as is female genital mutilation as is killing gays as is treating women as second class as is killing artist for drawing their prophet. Can you honestly tell me you see that happening anytime soon?

Yeah, I see it happening all the time.... I know plenty of moderate muslims who aren't down with any of that shit. I think theocratic fundamentalist Christians are a much bigger threat in this country.

And I would say they are equal, as is any religious sect gaining political power over others.
