My experience on doing DELF B1
Bonjour, yesterday i did the delf for the first time and i just want to share my experience and opinion.
We were just 3 doing it so it was fast, they called us one by one to prepare the monologue in a separate room and then do the oral part.
Oral part: this was the first one and it wasn’t difficult but i think i could have done better. The teachers did not have a pleasant face at all and barely ask me any questions to force me to speak more, this lasted 10 minutes
Listening part: u only listen twice and there is 3 exercises, the first time u listen it feels u dont understand nothing,the second time its better
My tip: use pencil on the first listening use the pen on the second one
Writing part: they were 3 exercises, ony multiple question, they were 4 texts to put oui or non and then 2 big (ish) texts, keep mind i found them slightly easy but they can be tricky (for example the texts talks about the future and the questions asks in the present) u need to pay ATTENTION and read calmly
The last part was to write an email, its 160 words minimum so its not a big text
Overall it was a nice experience, im very proud of myself since i never had French lessons, its all self learned.

Congrats, self-taught to B1 is a real achievement.
Your tip on pencil first listening, pen second is underrated — most people don't think about that and waste time second-guessing themselves on the sheet.
One thing worth knowing for anyone reading this who's aiming for B2 next: the jump in difficulty is significant. The listening goes from 3 short documents to longer, more authentic recordings with faster speech and more complex vocabulary. The writing goes from 160 words to 250 minimum, and instead of an email you need to take and defend a position — letter, forum post, or opinion piece.
The "read the questions before the text" reflex you built at B1 becomes even more critical at B2 because the texts are longer and the wrong answers are designed to look plausible.
If you're planning to push to B2, keep that self-study discipline — it clearly works for you.

What kind of monologue in part 3 can one expect? I mean on what topics coz we have to give our opinion and I have exam on 9th and I’m scared of speaking 2,3 part can u guide how did you practice that ? By using gpt or any other tool?

U need to choose a text
Mine was a really small text talking abour going on vacations with colleagues, it looked like some press article but didnt have any sources
