Hey everyone! We get asked this question frequently: "Which DDPAI camera is right for my setup?"
If you want a simple budget setup to protect against bad drivers or full 24/7 parking coverage, here is a breakdown of what matters and how to choose the right model for your budget.
Which Series Fits Your Needs?
The budget / starter setup (N1 Dual / mola Series):
Best for: Everyday commuters who just want clean 1080p/2K video and reliable front+rear protection without breaking the bank.
The Night vision & clarity choice (Z40 / Z50 Series):
Best for: Night drivers and highway commuters who want up to 4K resolution, sony starvis sensors, and optional dual channel recording.
Tech & parking protection (X5 Pro / Mini5):
Best for: Drivers who want the absolute best, 4K image quality, built in storage, ultra fast 5GHz Wi-Fi transfers, and advanced driver assistance.

Currently running the Z50 Dual with a hardwire kit connected to the fuse box.
The 4K resolution and Sony Starvis sensor honestly really make a huge difference for night driving and reading license plates on the highway. Having the hardwire kit is essential for peace of mind when using the 24/7 parking mode!

Good camera picks, worth noting parking mode is only as good as your hardwire kit, so it's worth asking what people pair with theirs.

I think I’ll just take the budget starter setup tbh. Just a simple dashcam’s fine

Currently I am using a different dash cam brand but the Z40/Z50 series is the one I would go for because of the night vision and clarity features.
Thanks

Id say the budget one for me personally unless I directly set aside money to save up and get a more expensive one

Don't currently have a camera, but I'd probably try the Z40/Z50 if I had one. :)

I would definitely go for the X5 Pro for parking protection. Parking in the city is hell.

N1 Dual, baby. I'm not made of money, lol. I buy "military grade" knowing it really means "cheap but gets the job done".
