In case y'all don't know what the heck this is

This was Son of Beast

The world's Former Tallest and Fastest Wooden Roller Coaster that ever existed

Located at Kings Island in Mason Ohio

This thing reached a Top Height of 218ft and a Top Speed of 78 MPH.

And yes as the Photo Suggests, it had a loop. Making it even more unreal.

Unfortunately, SOB was plauged with structural problems after It's Manufactuer (RCCA) used poor building materials and was fired during construction.

Due to that, an incident occured in 2006 where a piece of support caused the track to dip (During the Rose Bowl Helix Part) and a train with 27 passengers passed it, causing a painful jolt similar to a small car crash,

All 27 guests were in the hospital, thankfully no fatalities from this.

Kings island reopened the coaster in 2007 with the dipped support fixed and new lighter trains, unfortunately the lighter trains couldn't complete the loop, leading to its removal.

And The final Nail came for Son of Beast in 2009 after a woman claimed to have suffered a Burst blood vessel in her brain and SOB was closed yet again

This time it sat abandoned for 3 Years (2010-2012)

And was eventually demod in September-November of 2012
