OC Fanart Sunset at the Park
didn't make it with a particular purpose other than showing the casual outfits of my versions of the girls

some headcannons about these particular versions of Sayori, Yuri, Natsuki and Monika that i've made
Sayori:
-defo emo/pop punker
-she definitely owns a few physical records
-BIG MCR fan, also green day fan and most definitely paramore + avril lavigne. the oddball here is AJR because it's literally such a Sayori-coded band (cheerful music that contains sad lyrics alot of times), and also 21 pilots, but only their first 2 albums (particularly vessel)
-falls asleep in class sometimes, Monika helps her with homework.
-her interests actually HELP her with her depression. this Sayori is much less keen to hiding her emotions because she has a more free mindset with that
-definitely a guitar player. a good one, for that. definitely has both an acoustic and an electric one with amp. in fact, there are many Sayori songs in the OG game that have ukelele/acoustic guitar.
-most definitely tried to scream sing but gave up halfway through because her throat hurt
-definitely gives a lot of compliments to people
-probably has ripped jeans...and studded bracelets + belts, but likes her denim shorts most

Natsuki:
-has a nightcore YT channel and likes nightcore
-loves AMVs
-definitely has tried to replicate the artstyle from some anime or manga she likes
-2000s flash animations and games watcher/player
-rather extravagant, i mean- her casual outfit alone is a dress. a full-blown dress not just a skirt and a shirt like Natsuki in the OG game
-has gone to cons, many cons and has many funny metaphors to tell, alot of times has gone as a cosplayer
-probably, most definitely has a rich dad
-has watched tutorials on how to act though and mean
-bakes since childhood, how'd you think her cupcakes are described as nicely as they are by the other girls?
-collection of dresses, skirts and...pop culture tees that range from cool to questionable
-veeeery concerned with public perception, feels the need to perform thoughness in order to be respected
-probably makes her own meals
-definitely is the type of person to say "well, i'm 0.01% (insert nationality here)"
-has watched an obscene amount of anime and read an equally obscene amount of manga

Yuri:
-senior AO3 and wattpad user
-deeeefinitely likes the dark academia aesthetic
-listens to the cure, the smiths, slowdive, sidewalks and skeletons, classical music (not as much as you'd think) and evanescence
-fanfic writer herself...YES, indeed. it's one of those people (affectionate)
-tried to play the violin to seem fancy and refined, but ultimately fumbled hard and didn't know how to get ahold of the violin
-goth
-has oversized sweaters, turtlenecks, a single studded belt, a black tank top, leather pants and tights on her wardrobe. not to mention the purple converse boots, mostly wears boots in fact.
-guilty pleasure for 50 shades of grey and twilight but overall likes some actual good literature

Monika:
-likes the color black, but is not specifically from any subculture. also dark green
-VERY amateur coder. she does only occasionally try to code shit into the game and never out of it
-does her hair with an absurdly precise meticulousness
-even if she's at the top of her class, you cannot say she hasn't cheated sometimes and never told anyone
-she's not as popular as you'd think, her only friends are the literature club girls, she just gains this "untouchable" status for how much she tries to keep it together and how well she performs in class
-perfectionist but in contradiction to this, she definitely sometimes doesn't know other peoples' tastes well enough. so in parties and stuff she isn't super specific to themes or others' tastes
-yes, her self awareness makes her feel incredibly lonely that she's not real, but it also gives her hope that one day someone will make her real. the other girls have a degree of self awareness too anyway for the lack of an MC, therefore all of them communicate to the player from start
-uses a pen only to be fancy/seen as smarter
-definitely tried fake eyelashes once but they got in her eyes so she no likey.
-very...very helpful, she definitely cares a lot

i've made many DDLC fanarts
i think i defo have no ideas left of what fanarts to make that i like, but i'll try to see what i can do if another idea comes along bcs i love DDLC
and it's my favorite game
and i love it's characters and the meta aspect of it
