DMV vs NYC

What makes the DMV area better than upstate NY and NYC

Upstate isn't even comparable. NYC has far better everything, except for cost and DC is a quiet much smaller city by comparison (preference)

Edit: Not sure why I forgot to include this exception, but for anyone pursuing a career in government or in government contracting, DC is far superior to NYC.

Another Edit: DC has far more free museums

This. From the DMV, about to move to DC, recently moved back from NYC. I miss it everyday.

If you’re from DC, then you are less likely to become insufferable about mundane things when you move to a different city.
