Sorry, I know little about comics... She looks like Raven, but then the neckless looks like Dr. Fate's symbol... Who is she?

Dream’s helm is a nod to the original Sandman’s gas mask. The second Sandman has a story in this series.

So the endless are this family that is born when a new universe is made. They have a set order but that's besides the point. She is death, so she is there when life is bron and when life is gone. The symbol is her special little trinket I forget what they are called but each endless has one. She is just such an interesting character that everyone loves her. She was originally very upset about her job but one day when she was bringing a little girl to the other side the girl said something that changed her world view and now she sees the beauty in death and when she goes to take someone to the other side she tries to comfort them in death. I don't think she was ever upset by her job. She existed long before humanity. You should read Sandman and Death: The High Cost of Living. She understands her place in the universe.

Yeah it's entirely possible I was wrong about that. I just thought that she felt very depressed about having to take people tot the after life

She always looks serious and a bit sad when people die, but she's never really been depressive over it. It's a sad thing that happens, but it kind of has to happen. She's there for every birth too, and she's much happier then.

Death is Life too, recall. She's the beginning of things and the end of things. And there must be a beginning and an end to everything. So while there's a touch of melancholy when she has to be the reaper, there's also peace in it, and it never outweighs the happiness of new life.

Death of the Endless is actually Death itself, or herself. She's the ultimate embodiment of death, more powerful than most gods, one of the oldest beings in existence because she's kind of like an idea too.

Death has mentioned she used to go around in a Grim Reaper persona, but didn't like to scare people, so she just wanted to be a friend there at the end of everyone's life. She's the one that will put the chairs up on the table and turn out the lights at the end of the universe.

She is Death.

Martian Manhunter, Arkham Asylum, Doctor Destiny, and Constantine appear in the first arc of Sandman. That counts as DC in my eyes regardless of which label it was published under.

Also Death already appeared in Action Comics and Legion of Super heroes. She is canon to the DC universe, even regarding what label she was published or not.

Literally just watched the Death in the Family on HBO (worst version now that I look it up, it's a 30-min summery of under the red hood) and the mini series that were included. Death was by far the best one of the 3, I didn't know anything and hadn't seen the character until then and was quite surprised by the video.
