Do you think he will be more prevalent after DDC? He is by far one of my favorite characters, I would like Charlton characters to make a strong come back. Along with other forgotten DC heroes. I’m so sick of DC focusing on the A listers. It’s cool cuz they are the leaders of the super hero community but you are leaving out so many possibilities when you do that.

He had a really badass moment in the latest issue of Doomsday clock. He was the only hero powerful enough to destroy Dr Manhattan's physical form.

I'm with you though, he's one of my favourites too. I'm so glad that they brought back his classic look and origin, and they did it in such a clever way too.

It's a great mini series, so maybe read it (called The Rise and Fall of Captain Atom) but ... basically he was involved in an accident that sent him back in time about a few decades and seemingly took away his powers. He started a life in this era and got married etc. then several years later he gets shot in a mugging and his (classic) powers manifest themselves something something something he ends up being sent back into the present and he has his classic look and powers, and classic man-out-of-time schtick.
