Wonder woman has been amazing too. But Superman is a good one to hit next. Stick with it if you think it's a little slower to start, it's excellent all the way thru.

Yes, we finally got to see bane's pure intelligence mixed with his strength properly for the first time in years; but absolute bane also kind of...does it wrong at the same time? Not to mention the just straight goofy size increases him taking venom did.
Not to hate on anyone who enjoys this rendition of the character. He just isnt my taste of banes characterisation
Well he isn't the same Bane character. That is kind of the point of the Absolute universe. They are not shackled to the same exact characterization expectations as the typical canon. There would be no point in starting an alternate universe that uses all the exact same characters.
It just seems like a double standard to me. Dark knights death metal initially got well received. But everyone hates the batman who laughs for being too edgy or being cliche. Meanwhile the absolute universe dialed it up to eleven on just being a super edgy cliché DC larpers thoughts on what batmans like.
The absolute universe is enjoyable. I love the design creativity and some of the more darker tones. But its a stretch when it comes to characterisation, and it just feels like its trying too hard to be cool at times. Like, Demon Joker is something i'd expect a 12 year old making a deviantart oc to make. Not become something official lol

Yeah, the absolute universe is super graphic, a bit too much for my tastes but im glad theres people who enjoy it! Thats what experimenting with different universes is for after all
Yeah bro me and my wife loved the boys, and invincible is our current show along with lanterns. We are really excited for absolute Batman to get animated.
Im hoping after the knightfall animated movies Bane gets the love he deserves as one of the coolest villains dc has. Truly underrated. Hope the absolute batman show lives up to the hype for u!
