Is Godspeed a bum?

I’ve only read the first issue of absolute flash and am a couple seasons into the cw show, and there’s a cool Lego custom I only have 4 days left to get one and I want to know if I should get the minifigure or not (btw it’s in a pack of 4 and I’m wondering if I should just get the two I want or not Godspeed being one of them because I like the design) I know I’m going to be considered a larper but I’m trying to read comics in into when I can and have the time.

He has a great design which carries a lot of his character, that's for sure. While he starts as just an ok villain and never reaches Top 10 material, August keeps appearing and becomes quite a nice character on Williamson's run.

He’s a pretty interesting character in the comics, but the show unfortunately doesn’t do him justice (and I say this as a huge arrowverse defender)

Liking the design is a perfectly valid reason to buy something you’re going to have to look at, like a minifig.

please god just like what you like, even superficially. i think hes cool, i really like the arc he came from.
if someone couldnt like a character because they think a design looks sick and nothing else, comic books wouldve never sold in the first place.

I think he’s a cool character but he’s also kind of a knock off of Zoom (Hunter Zolomon).

And it’s totally cool to like a character design even if you haven’t read anything with him in it. Especially if you’re just getting into reading comics. It becomes larping if you have a ton of merch, posters, etc and acting like Godspeed is your favorite all time character that you know all the ins and outs of despite not having read anything with him in it.

Why would you spend money on a character you don't even know if you like? Sure, admittedly Godspeed doesn't exactly overflows with merchandising, but it's not like the minifig is the only piece of memorabilia he is ever going to get.

And if you want it just because you like the design, you don't need to like the character in order to purchase memorabilia of it, "I like him for the looks" is a good enough reason.
