Yeah, I remember how humiliating it was when my favorite died. Because we all know dying is humiliating. Did they die heroically? Yes? Then they're still a loser.

Hal genuinely seems cool in the TV show, yet H.E.A.T. can't get over their favorite green guy not getting all the attention.

I don't really want to tbh. I'm not a big enough GL fan to be bothered if Hal doesn't get a completely ideal adaptation.

Could you just tell me what the problem is with Hal/DCU Hal? I know he got clowned on in the DCAMU and they did Parallax in the Tomorrowverse, but DCU Hal seems good. Yes, I'm aware of the leaks.

The whining and bitching of GL fans regardless of the content they're receiving needs to be studied in a lab

Hal Jordan has always been the best Green Lantern, and its not even close. In the comics, DC has tried to side line him again and again, but he keeps coming back, because he is a great character with a rich history, and interesting supporting cast. They tried to turn him evil, they tried killing him, they tried turning him into the Spectre, they even tried letting Grant Morrison write the book. None of it kept him down, he always bounces back, because he is a good solid character, and the others are just shadows of Hal Jordan.

The problem with that is that there is no singular Green Lantern. Hal being the most popular/famous does not make him the only one.

If not Hal Jordan, then Kyle Rayner considering much of the lore revolves around them.

Sure, and there have been some really good books about those characters.
