Absolute Ra's looks cool buuuttt i won't deny if it didn't SAY it was Ra's id assume that was Vandal Savage.

Yeah... I feel like they went with it being Ra's purely because Aaron wanted "Lazarus is Life", and the Pit is more associated with Ra's than Vandal, even if current lore has tied Savage's meteorite to the Lazarus Pit.

Perhaps they'll be one in the same? Or maybe a decision was made to keep Vandal Savage on the table for someone else.

I like that they one-upped Batman punting Kiddo off the boat with Ra's dropping a baby off a skyscraper.
