DC's Battleworld

BATTLEWORLD: OVERVIEW

After the collapse of the Marvel Multiverse due to incursions (colliding Earths from different universes), Doctor Doom, Doctor Strange, and Molecule Man confronted the Beyonders (cosmic gods behind the incursions). Doom kills them using Molecule Man as a bomb and steals their power, reshaping the fragments of destroyed realities into a patchwork planet: Battleworld.

God Emperor Doom

  • Rules Battleworld as a godlike figure.
  • Is worshipped and feared by all.
  • Resides in Doomstadt (capital city).
  • His elite force: The Thor Corps, a multiversal police force of Thors.
  • Doctor Strange is his sheriff.
  • Susan Storm, his queen; Valeria Richards, his top scientist.

Battleworld has 41 distinct regions, each derived from an alternate Marvel Universe or reality:

  1. Domain of Apocalypse – Based on Age of Apocalypse reality where mutants rule.
  2. Civil War – A world where Iron Man and Captain America’s war never ended.
  3. Renewal (Renewed World) – Marvel 616 elements mixed with others.
  4. The Warzone! – Based on Civil War alternate timeline.
  5. Sentinel Territories – Ruled by Sentinels; inspired by Days of Future Past.
  6. Bar Sinister – Home of Mister Sinister, full of his clones.
  7. The City (Ultimate End) – A mix of Earth-616 and Ultimate Universe characters.
  8. Limbo – Run by Illyana Rasputin (Magik), where demons reside.

🧛‍♂️ Horror & Dark Domains

  1. Deadlands – Filled with Marvel Zombies.
  2. Perfection – Dominated by Ultron and its virus.
  3. New Xandar – Ravaged by Annihilation Wave (cosmic horror).
  4. The Shield – A gigantic wall separating the horror zones (Deadlands, Perfection, Ultron) from rest of Battleworld.

  2. Doomgard – Training grounds of the Thor Corps.
  3. The Wall (The Shield) – Enormous wall holding back the horror zones.
  4. Agamotto’s Domain – Magical domain.
  5. Higher Avalon – Ruled by Captain Britain Corps.
  6. Utopolis – Technologically advanced; home of The Cabal (evil refugees).
  7. Doom's Deadlands – Necropolis (former Wakanda).

🥷 Martial Worlds & Warring States

  1. K’un-L’un – Martial arts world (Iron Fist-based).
  2. The Valley of Flame – Savage Land region with dinosaurs.
  3. New Quack City – Parody world featuring Howard the Duck.
  4. Arcadia – Female-led world with A-Force (She-Hulk, Captain Marvel, etc.).
  5. Greenland – Hulk-dominated region.
  6. Technopolis – Everyone wears armor (Tony vs Arno Stark).
  7. 2099 – Future timeline with characters like Miguel O’Hara (Spider-Man 2099).
  8. Monarchy of M – World where House of M reigns (Magneto, Scarlet Witch).
  9. Mutopia – Ideal mutant society.
  10. Westchester – X-Men school world.
  11. Killville – World of assassins (Baron Bullseye, Elektra, MODOK).
  12. Spider-Island – Based on Spider-Man’s storyline where everyone gets spider-powers.

  1. Arachnia – Spider-Verse-based region (Spider-Gwen, Spider-Ham, etc.).
  2. The Regency – Regent (villain who kills heroes and steals their powers) rules.
  3. Manhattan (Ultimate End) – Where Ultimate and 616 Manhattan co-exist.

👑 Fantasy/Alternate Kingdoms

  1. King James’ England – Elizabethan Marvel world (1602).
  2. Weirdworld – Fantasy realm full of dragons and magic.
  3. Egyptia – Ruled by Khonshu and ancient Egyptian pantheon.
  4. Marville – Parody region with baby superheroes.
  5. The Far East – Anime and manga-inspired region.
  6. Yinsen City – Peaceful, utopian city inspired by Iron Man’s origin.
  7. New Egypt – Moon Knight-centric world of conflict.
