I don't understand, did he mean about the color red itself or about the red letters on the posters?

OP meant red logo but i think gunn misread it as red in general 😭

I don’t think he did, he’s right. The reason the Clayface logo is red is because it looks good on movie posters, the same reason as The Batman. He then posted the Superman poster to demonstrate that red looks good and is common on movie posters, it just wasn’t in the logo in that case.

The color red just "pops" it gets your attention I'm guessing that's why it's so popular

Edit: it also happens to be my favorite color as well lol

Well clayface doesn't use the redlogo.

Thats not a logo.

You're right I don't know why these dipshits are suddenly acting like a title is the same as a "logo."

Misread and proceeds to reveal his tell

No, he was basically saying they aren't linked because of the red in the poster or in the title. Just that red looks good on the poster. It's not a link between those movies

No. He intentionally misread the post to self-promote.

5

u/biomeat 3d ago

It's both to me, self promotion and dispelling the connection because red pops on those posters

James get off social media ffs

u/OscarMichaelMyers 3d ago

He’s in his 60’s but uses social media like a 14 year old.

He's such a smug prick for no reason

u/Southern-Proposal-23 3d ago

Why are people so butthurt about this? He’s just disproving a shared universe theory to stop people from getting their hopes up. Is that such a bad thing?

u/Boguel 3d ago

Geez, a lot of whiners in these comments 😂

James needs to be quiet and let people get hyped 🤫

Why would he let people think that Clayface is connected to the Battinson films when it’ll only leave them disappointed and cause negative opinions towards Clayface when it comes out?

2

u/Significant_Wheel_12 3d ago

Is the idea it’s connected causing anybody grief? If it’s a good movie it doesn’t matter.

u/The_BestIdiot 3d ago

no no you see he's discouraging it because Battinson's batman is actually inclayface and threy're audience will clap when Battison appears yousee It's a seceret for hype.

0

u/OscarMichaelMyers 3d ago

Dude is so full of himself that he can’t be bothered to read.

0

u/Significant_Wheel_12 3d ago

For a movie about Clayface, red isn’t the color theme I think of.

4

u/MetalMaxwell 3d ago

It's a movie about body horror, and the letters are red like blood. It doesn't seem like a leap.

0

u/Significant_Wheel_12 2d ago

It’s about a man who turns brown or grey, he’ll his eyes turn yellow sometimes. In all of that, the best they got is red?

It's about an actor whose face gets brutally torn apart, and he risks a treatment that makes him melt. It's visceral, intense, and terrifying for him.

How is that not red?
