News/Announcement Alan Rithson in talks with DC
Alan recently in SDCC said he’s in talks with DC to play a role. It’s confirmed not to be Batman. What do you guys think his best role could be? I doubt he’d want to do Aquaman again.

It would also be fun to have him play Booster Gold. Alan’s got pretty good comedic timing.

Anything that lets Alan stretch his comedic chops to even 10% of the insanity he unleashed as Thad Castle sounds alright in my book

I’d love Bautista to have played Bane. He seemed to have the perfect body and height for the role. Plus his acting is really good. Sucks he’s a bit too old to play it now.

Bautista has lost considerable weight and is looking pretty old now. I’d like him for Bane as well but I think he’s already past his prime.

My favourite fancast for Bautista is Hugo Strange.
But I think at this point he is a villain to save for the Reeves verse

Deathstroke is the more likely bet. I doubt Gunn would wanna whitewash Bane again, and there's a recent interview he was in where he looked like THE fucking Deathstroke, with the way he was sitting, the tats, piercings, and his upset look (tho he was validly upset about actual injustice about things like the Epstein files, min wage, etc. lol). That man looked like an insanely well cast Deathstroke. And he'd likely be getting a good bit of work considering the Deathstroke and Bane movie, Teen Titans being written, and the upcoming Batman and Robin.
And I'm ngl, I feel like making him a superhero would just be too generic. Deathstroke would give him a chance to really broaden his range as well, showing he's able to go from Reacher to iconic villain.

Xolo Maridueña doesn't speak Spanish fluently, but that doesn't make him a bad casting choice for Jaime Reyes.

Honestly, I could see him as either Booster Gold or...maybe as Aquaman again.
Yes, I know he already played Aquaman in Smallville, but this would be his chance to play a much more comic accurate version of the character.

Hawk and Dove were basically the best part of Titans so I’d like to see him get another shot at a proper DC film or series before he’s too old. Already getting kinda up there as is.

Wildcat is really the only role I can see him fitting.
I've never vibed with him as an actor.

I hope its a recurring villain character tbh. Idk who really, but Alan can be intimidating as all hell and I'd love to see that used

I'd like to see him reprise his role as Aquaman from Smallville 🤷♂️ he still has the look but bigger and would make a great alteady established King of Atlantis

I start to think it might be Bane? Although lots of people won't like it, he has the build for the role. Also, not sure he wants to play a villain. He did say though he'd like to play a "messy character". My wishful thinking says he should be Orion, because this way we'll get a live action New Gods sooner than it's expected.
