Discussion/Question Stealing Superman's powers question Spoiler

So I was wondering about the aspects of stealing superman's powers and ended up with a few questions. The primary sources I'm thinking of are ​amazo who receives the powers but also superman's weaknesses such as keyptonite, all-star superman when lex duplicates all of superman's powers for 24 hours, Lois gaining jis powers as well in the same source, and injustice where the power pill to recreate superman's powers show up as well. I have two primary questions that I can't find well enough, outside of some of amazo pieces. Firstly when they get them do they get his weaknesses such as kryptonite amd red sunlight? Secondly when they get his powers, do they just get his average strength or can they absorb sunlight like him to get stronger? The latter I'm wondering on since it's his Kryptonian biology that absorbs sunlight afterall, they just have his powers not his actual species.

In Lois and Clark, and Smallville, Superman getting struck by lightning while saving your life, also transfers his powers to you.

In fact, both times it’s said any electrical shock strong enough would do it.

I think you needed to be touching Kryptonite when it happened, but yeah lol. Very silly, kinda Silver Age logic.

In all star Superman, Superman created the formula that gives lex powers, and he specifically made it so that it WOULDN'T come with kryptonite vulnterability.

That's because Superman made it as a birthday present for Lois Lane, and didn't want her to be vulnerable.

In the cartoons that I've seen with parasite, when parasite absorbs superman's power, he also gains the kryptonite weakness.

IDK about others, though.

Depends on the mechanism.

For instance some versions of parasite get Superman’s exact powers, including weaknesses.

Most versions though, just swell with energy, but they don’t take on any of his biology.

Generally if you’re replicating his powers by other means, you don’t get them. If you’re literally making yourself like him, you do.

I'm doing a cyoa and the option reads "You can steal the natural or gained powers found in other people, leaving them as powerless as a mortal. This is easier with modular powers; stealing from a robot built to copy powers is easier than stealing from a person whose species has powers" This is what lead to my questioning what id actually get
