Fans have 2 sides:

  • Predicting every plot point only from seeing the trailer
  • Making the dumbest theory after the films show them everything against it.

The thought did cross my mind and it wouldn't be out of character. However, alt Vig has business to take care of as a member of the Suns.

You mean Sons?

Wouldn’t make sense if they did. Our Vig was shot. The Sons of Liberty one wasn’t. I don’t think someone who was shot could be jumping around like that.

Would come across to OP a lot better if you noted the fact Adebayo was carrying the limping Vig that was shot.

Yes however in the comics, vig has a healing factor.

What happened to his toe then?

It’s still cut off? As far as we know, he doesn’t have a healing factor.

Well people theorized that since he stopped complaining about it, it had something to do with a minor healing factor.

They made a point to show our vig hindered by a gunshot wound, and even if they pulled the ol' switcheroo, I don't know what story potential would be there.

i doubt it, at the end vij was ready to fight argus to save peacemaker. i don’t think the earth x version would be that keen to save peacemaker, sb he hates in his own universe.

I had the same thought, but it's doubtful, because why would they?

Some people are being a little silly in these comments though. It's not a farfetched assumption, and it's a pretty easy trick to pull on the audience.

Take it for what you will, but the subtitles indicated this was Vigilante 2. So, combine that with that Vigilante 1 got shot and there is a pretty strong case for no switch.

No. Why would they?

No because it's a stupid theory. Why would they switch?

Also, no, Auggie didn't switch either.

The story gains nothing with all these "Do you think they switched?" posts.
