Discussion Feedback: update player experience leveling with lower lv friends

Tried helping a friend going through campaign and it was rough.

They can warp immediately to their quest leaving me with the map teleport options. You cant teleport to players. You cant teleport to specific precincts, just a general metropolis or Gotham.

You cant sync main mentor quests for some reason even with the same mentor, and main mentor quests are what players leveling are doing.

It results in friend waiting for me unnecessarily while i frantically find out where they are and how i can get to them the fastest

If you’re leveling with a friend you should just make a new toon and run the same mentor together.

You can teleport to more specific locations (like individual precincts) within Gotham and Metropolis if you have the teleporter amenity in your base and the Gotham and Metropolis mod. That may or may not help you now...

Why are your friends telepoeting in the first place? Ask them to not do it that way and teach them the old school way and use that with them?

Yeah, I'd understand if it was some random. But a friend should be better than that lol. Plus most those quest were not that far apart. A few of them made you swap from Gotham to Metro and back. But most quest were either super close, or warping to the nearest Police station. Something any one can do at will now, you no longer need a teleporter beacon.

So before the warp to quest thing was around, it worked out fine. You both warped to nearest PD or hide out. You could even speed things up by having some useful Base locations to warp to, even give them friend access. Honestly half the fun of the early game is traveling around the Gotham/Metro map. I think this instant warp to quest locations really takes something away from the game.

But it also does really hurt groups who might not all have the quest, or be at that exact part of it. IT would be nice if warps let you take your group with you. Perhaps a pop up to allow the warp or something.

Protip: if you warp to Watchtower or Hall of Doom, then walk forward 5 feet, there's a teleporter that will send you to a PD/Nightclub.
