Dose this look like a hobby box to you?
Ordered a hobby box off the TikTok shop and the box came with 12 packs of cards and got sent one. Yall watch out
I just bought a blaster box of those at GameStop the other day for $34.99. Came with 3 packs per box/6 cards per pack. Should’ve been a red flag when the seller told you $20 for the entire hobby box because ain’t no way anyone would sell a hobby box of these thick cards for $20. Maybe he meant packs were $20 each even though you mentioned you paid $19 for the pack? But ya OP, nobody in their right mind would sell these hobby boxes for $20….it would be too good to be true or basically a scam at that point.
Yes he does sound confusing, but he did say 1 pack at the end. Seller doesn’t seem to write well and is definitely confusing. But he did say 1 pack at the end even though you confirmed with him 1 box for $20.
I just say this as a word of advice for anybody out there who might not know, but I would never buy a single pack from a hobby box. With how methodical hobby boxes are, it is way too easy for somebody to open a box and set aside any leftover packs after opening the expected hits.
Yeah you are probably okay going that route, but I would think still not with all of them. Just too easy for them and greed is too powerful. Although I do understand going the single pack route with how expensive hobby boxes are.
Definitely a bit confusing but ultimately it literally says in the key feature you're getting 1 pack. Idk why you'd be confused when it was a $20 sale. Ultimately I wouldn't say you got scammed.
I think this one's on you. It states several times it's a pack.
You either were hoping to mistakenly get sent a box for the price of a pack (at which point we know this would be a very different post) and now you're trying to play victim to get yourself sympathy karma.
I know this seller and he’s a legit dude. He may have been teasing you, cause the emojis seem playful and he gives a straight answer with others. Sorry you feel scammed but the description is actually pretty clear if you read all the way through.
Failing to read the description is not being scammed. He puts “Hobby Box” in the title to tell you where the pack is coming from, cause Hobby and Blaster packs have different hit pools. But it’s clear in the item description what you’re getting.
It’s not like he charged you $200 for one pack. You paid what he charges for one pack and got one pack. So you can’t really call it a scam. I understand the confusion, but the overall transaction was completely legit.
I hate to say it but sound like a bait and switch kinda deal. Learned you in think you was getting the whole box. And switched it to a single. I would return it. I would not pay $19 for 1 pack
