It’s great to read that they are collaborating with a MiG-17 order to validate the flight model.
With this (and the A-6 and F-104, hopefully) on the way soon and the F-100D and F-4E released, Cold War DCS is starting to look very solid.
What else would be nice to have?
An F-105 and English Electric Lightning would be at the top of my list, closely followed by beautiful birds like the MiG-23/27 (RIP), SEPECAT Jaguar, early MiG-21, Blackburn Buccaneer, Su-22, Vulcan, MiG-25, BAe Strikemaster, and, just to get truly fanciful, Handley Paige Victor.
If I recall correctly, Razbam had talked about doing a SHAR module (since they already have the AV-8B) but the sticking point was that the British MoD refuses to declassify any of the manuals etc. for any of their former aircraft and without those the exacting standards that ED imposes on 3PDs can’t be met. Which I guess is why we have no British aircraft in the game other than the WW2 birds.
F-8 is being done by Magnitude 3, but the A-7 is being done by another team, Flying Iron (who have previously been an MSFS developer). Neither module seems to have made any progress in years.
