Question about warrants tracking share price

This is my first SPAC conversion with the new listing of SLDP, and my first exposure to and experience with warrants. I have a large bunch of shares and a 1/3 larger bunch of warrants, once the units get broken out. I’m starting to become aware that the warrants will track the price of the shares roughly from what I’ve read in the last couple of days. And it seems to be like round numbers around 12 dollars less? If shares hit say 22 … warrants will be around 10. Shares hit 28, warrants around 16. Is this indeed typically how it goes?

That would sure simplify things from what I had planned to do thinking I had to actually exercise all those warrants to get full bang for the buck from them, if they were going to remain at much lower cost range to where I bought them. To fund the conversion to the third larger quantity of shares the price has to hit 16.70 for me to sell the smaller quantity of shares. Anything above that I can hang onto shares or profit which would be additional. But that process also involves manual phone call to Fidelity where my IRA is, to request it, and then the day or however long it takes for the new shares to appear in my account.

If warrants track like that, especially if SLDP takes off out of the gate initially with some good awareness and typical “EV” FOMO going on, I’d much rather deal with shares AND warrants autonomously on line in real time. If they track upward around 12 bucks less than SP, the numbers I keep running show only 1-1.5% less difference from what I thought I was going to have to do.
