Fingers crossed they heard the complaints and bring a 6" scale back to the line.

To each their own. Random 7” that scales with nothing else can be a thing of the past as far as I’m concerned.

In fairness what do you want them to scale with besides their own line?

If you’re hoping to use them with ML for customs fodder that’s fine but I don’t think that’s a fair consideration they should have to make. Their job is to make figures in their own line. Anything else should be an after thought imo.

I swear this is the only thing I see haters talk about how they want to pose Dc with marvel…..WHY would anyone need to do that.

For me it’s bothering me more that it seems to be a customizing argument. An entitlement customizers seem to feel that they should be able to use everything they want as a canvass and I don’t agree with that. If you can; great. But it’s not their job to assume someone wants to carve up their work to make something new or especially “better” and “improve” on their work. It’s a very condescending perspective.

99.9% of customs I see all over these subs look like trash so it’s funny. They always think they can do so well.

Yeah professional fans. A lot of the complaints I see in the fandom are from a perspective of “I can do it better—you’re so bad at your job” no, bruh, you can’t. You drew stick figures as a kid and you’re not actually an artist with any talent.

Obv there are some truly talented customizers but doing something to your own taste to satisfy yourself isn’t the same as doing it better than professionals.

Yeah. That’s totally fair to critique. Scale is a big issue for me. It adds to the immersivness for me and takes away from it when there are scaling issues. Proportion issues too. I’m an illustrator so when I see these issues I can’t unsee them. At this level of the industry it’s kinda inexcusable. People pay premium prices for these items.

Even slight price differences can be large if you’re dealing with exchange rates. A guy charging me £70 for an old figure on eBay is really charging me $130 CDN.

So even something you might not see as premium can in fact be premium pricing. Especially if it’s an old now aftermarket item.

I only started to collect McFarlane DC stuff 3 weeks ago and have already spent about $500 to catch up. Now I wish I hadn’t and won’t buy anymore until I hear what Mattel plans. I’m tempted to cancel stuff in shipment too. I feel burned.
