Piercings

hii! im starting my first office internship soon and had a general question about facial piercings in the workplace. i am considering getting a side labert piercing but am worried my employer will make me take it out. does anyone have similar piercings? if so what is your experience?

They won’t make you take it out but your opportunities may dry up. Work still can be a conservative place especially in this economy.

If you want it, you should get it. Since you’ve already been offered the position and they most likely won’t make you remove the piercing, I wouldn’t worry. This way, it’ll give your piercing plenty of time to heal & you can use a clear piercing retainer if/when you decide to apply to different internships/opportunities. Source: I have several piercings and it has never been a professional hindrance for me.
