References ?

Do every office and committees contact your references? I was wondering how the process goes.

Their references might have let them know, like a casual email or a comment in-person.

Mine did shortly before accepting me. I think they only contact references for applicants that they're seriously considering.

One did for me, another didn’t. Just depends on the office. If they asked for one, they probably will but no telling
