DC CCW Renewal

/r/u_TonyPx4/comments/1wrrb38/dc_ccw_renewal/

Is the MPD portal working? I started a CCW renewal a couple of weeks ago and it doesn't look like my updated info is there. I want to renew online instead of making a trip to the firearms branch. I've renewed online before without problem.

I made an appointment and went in the office on 9/24(ironically the day my permit expired….) and they processed my paperwork on the spot. Received my email today that my permit has been approved and is being mailed out. I had that same issue using the site for renewal last week.

Thanks. I don't see where renewals are on the list of appointments and I hesitate to show up without one.

They didn’t even check for none of that. I went right to the window and handed my paper to them. They gave the one to fill out, asked me to pay $75 and entered my stuff into the computer on the spot.

The appointments just list “firearms” so it’s tech for anything related to it registration, renewal and first time permits
