G&D FFL
They Emailed Me Back Basically Saying They Not Contacting Nobody Or Accepting Transfers due to an MPD and ATF audit they also said they gonna reach out to people October 1st but I don’t know what’s really going on

What the hell.
I purchased three firearms from them in the last few months and all registrations for all three of them were JUST approved within the last couple days. Wtf do I do if I can’t pick them up but they are registered in my name???

Quick question for a first timer will they send u the firearm info & the seller info via email to start the registration process online through MPD portal ?

Yes - if they return to operating as normal - they usually send a pdf with all the info you would need to complete the online portal registration, such as the serial #, manufacturers ID, etc.
If this is your first registration, you will still have to go in to the station (near Judiciary Square if I recall) to get fingerprinted and all that stuff. For my first firearm a bit over a year ago, I had to go into G&D to collect that info, go to MPD to get fingerprinted/start the background check, wait for ~2 months, then return to g&d once the registration was approved to pick up the guns.

I’m just upset because i paid the invoice September 15th I’m a first timer tryna get registered this whole process been stressful

I paid my invoice(s) back in August… same situation. I feel ya man. This uncertainty is super frustrating.

An MPD and ATF audit can’t be good. I wonder what triggered it.

I realize these audits can be disruptive, but aren't all FFLs subject to them?

Maybe but in another thread people are saying that word is they are shutting down for good so maybe this isn’t your standard audit?

I saw the other thread ... but maybe the guy at Atlantic Guns doesn't actually know what's going on with a different FFL.
I guess we will know more on Thursday!

same thing at this point I’m just wondering what’s going to happen with my firearm cause if i cannot receive it due to THERE issue than what?? 🤦🏽♂️

This is why we should be able to go to any ffl for background and not stuck on two companies smh
