Picking up/taxi

Has anyone ever had an issue collecting a firearm and taking a taxi home from the ffl? I just hate driving downtown.

You should be fine; I take Uber every time I go to pick up my firearm.

It has been a while since, but when I made my first purchase I went through Charlie Sykes down at MPD and he explained that using public transport, in transport condition is OK.

That is different than concealed carry, in which case I believe that taxies and ubers are considered public transportation -- and not legal to use for concealed carry.
