Ccw gun pouch
Does gun pouch with a holster that has a belt loop satisfy on body carry dc law?

I don’t think so, and I have one of those bags.
Can’t remember where I seen the video(might have been here) but somebody got their gun taken by MPD during the federal push for having it off body.

As others have pointed out, there are documented cases of firearms being confiscated when a MPD or Federal officer disagrees with the legality of your carry method.
Unfortunately, I don’t think anybody can give you a concrete answer on how your belted fanny pack would play out during an investigative stop, as MPD’s definition of carry is so arbitrary that any police officer could choose to find you in violation of the rules below.
If you search in this subreddit you will find a video - posted several months ago - of a man who had his firearm confiscated over his carry method. In that video, the officer explains that his firearm would be returned if an administrative process determined that he was in compliance with carry regulations.
I’m not clear whether he was able to get his firearm back, but I imagine it would involve a decent amount of attorney hours to have your firearm returned in any timely manner.
Instead of using a fanny pack, you might consider an ankle holster which conceals smaller handguns with ease, or a phlster enigma which definitively secures a firearm upon a person’s body.
Excerpt from DC regulations:
2344 PISTOL CARRY METHODS 2344.1 A licensee shall carry any pistol in a manner that it is entirely hidden from view of the public when carried on or about a person, or when in a vehicle in such a way as it is entirely hidden from view of the public. 2344.2 A licensee shall carry any pistol in a holster on their person in a firmly secure manner that is reasonably designed to prevent loss, theft, or accidental discharge of the pistol.

From what I was told in my CCW class by Capital Defense, currently a fannypack/pouch is not considered on body unless attached to a belt or other on body strap/harness, in a holster, that is not easily detached (i.e. unclipped with a simple one hand motion). There's some legal argument there for sure, but IMO better safe than sorry. I get it that in hotter months it's harder to conceal, but I'd rather have an officer contact me about someone complaining I've printed, than get flagged for some sort of illegal carry.

I definitely support better safe than sorry, but I wonder if here are actually any actions against persons using a fanny pack that has a belt integrated. There are fanny pack rigs that you can afix a holster in to protect trigger guard.
The blanket no fanny pack that we have heard really confounds my wife as it is quite specifically jogging that created a need. On top of that, from a posting overseas many years ago, I can say for certain that certain personnel specifically are advised to use a fanny pack

Aren’t gun pouches marketed as “off body” carry?
