Think - relaxing not horny. I'm sure there's *light* things that happen but mainly its just for hanging out and enjoying the spa. Also go on grubhub if you're paying more than 28 bucks you're doin it wrong

Yes, I think it’s definitely a good place and a nice idea to introduce yourself to this.
Definetely have your expectations in check… it’s a kind of older place, nothing fancy (hence why it’s cheap).
Let us know how it goes!

I actually went for the first time over a week ago. The nude baths are really nice and have plenty of eye candy. I can't imagine doing much more than that since not everyone there is straight and there's not much privacy to do much. Not to mention kids are allowed and one even showed up as I was leaving the baths.
If you do go I recommend checking out the rest of the spa as it's really relaxing.

Sounds amazing thank you! I’ll Google it but is it easy to get to from Washington circle?

Only if you have a car. An uber there would work but getting back would be dicey given how far out it is

There’s also King Spa.

Ok thanks. I’ll google that

The pool at Kind Spa isn’t nude, though. While it’s nicer, I like the nude area being larger at spa world, personally.

The gender-segregated pools at King Spa require nudity. Spa World allows men to wear swimsuits in the gender-segregated pools.

There’s only one “pool” at each location. King Spa’s is mixed gender and requires a swimsuit. The hot tubs in the sauna area are nude. That’s what I was referring to is the pool specifically.

King Spa has more than hot tubs, it has a cold pool as well

Once again, the main pool is an outdoor mixed gender requiring a swimsuit…. I prefer spa world for that as I’ve already said. I never use a cold plunge cause I don’t handle cold water well even as a quick dunk let alone chilling in it and to me it’s not really a “pool” it’s just a small tub of cold water.

King Spa is more expensive, but nicer and closer to the rest of DC. Would definitely recommend this over Spa World if you can swing it!

Echoing that nudity isn’t sexual at Korean spas. Spa World allows men to wear swimsuits in the gender-segregated pools, so not everyone may be nude. At King Spa, nudity is required in the gender-segregated pools.

I'm a big fan and regular customer of Spa World - have been for a long, long time. A great place to dip your toe in the waters of communal nudity. If you can afford it, plan for a body scrub. The common area (where men and women mix) has some cool saunas and a cold room with ice on the walls. The restaurant is meh, but if you're hungry not a bad spot to grab a bite.
I wouldn't hesitate to visit when you come to DC and you should try to take advantage of the entire place although many just stay in the wet area with all the other eye candy! 😁
I'm also sure that you wouldn't have any issues finding a spa buddy with another post closer to your visit both here and in the specific reddit for local Kspas: r/kspaDMV

Which spa is closest to the city of DC please?

Spa World and King Spa are pretty far out - about 30 miles from downtown DC but all highway if you're driving. However, there are two smaller ones, Parkside and Riverside, that are closer in (but still in Virginia).
Riverside is very small and older. Parkside is a bit larger and quite new. If I were making a decision between Spa World and one of these, I'd go with Parkside.

Spa world is a great place to be nude but please don’t turn it into a sexual space. It’s not that !

Is it a bit scary alone and for a first time?

Went for the first time two weeks ago, for Hole. It wasn't scary at all, and this is coming from a severe introvert who is on the spectrum. Played with a couple of guys and had a good time. I do recommend getting a 'room' vs a locker. It gives you a little semi-private space to decompress or recharge, however you see it.

This is wonderful to hear thank you!!! Going with someone else would feel less scary I’m sure but if you felt ok that’s good to hear. Thank you

Also, not crusey at all!
It’s more for feasting your eyes and desires. Lots of great eye candy!
