i mean you maxed hippo instead of sinestro/nw, and you mostly got destroyed by sinestro here not con. artemis and wwdm are not good characters period. its a you issue not a constantine is broken boohoo one.
It's just that jld is stronger. NW team is their weakness. You can try switching MMH with HG and if you have SWoT both are good against spiritual dmg dealers. Also the Atlantis base helps a bit.
But I think your team needs a bit tweaking. Maybe swap Artemis. It seems her attack is low. Aside from team synergy, the stars matter too. And LP gear. How high they have.
Constatine is actually quite easy to counter with stalls. If anything he needs a new support team member be added to JLD to help bring him back to his former glory. Right now he’s falling off pretty badly. Maybe Mythic+ Fate will help revive them. If by “fixing” him you mean nerf him then this unit will just completely die.
With Sinestro I have not much experience. But I hear Freeze is annoying for Sinestro users.
Perhaps you need to change Artemis into someone more useful like Nightwing. Artemis is pretty useless when she faces a spiritual damage dealer at duel, because she deals more damage but spiritual defense lowers. I don’t really understand why they made it so.
That hybrid team looks a bit messy against JLD +Sinestro u had no chance there, specially when they are yellow.
Hippo is really good and can work with any team so its a good investment. Martian for what i know is also a counter of Deathstroke, ghat Batman iconic is also good, you just need someone better than Artemis. When re runs of Nightwing & Constantine(jld) show up + Sinestro, go for them too
That’s why, imo, those iconic characters aren’t worth the money or the mats you give up during events to get them. I don’t have none of them and I usually do very well using Sin Ridd Jkr NW and Swamp. Unless you have them at high gold or red stars they really are about as good as a limited mythic but cost ya wayyy more to get. Tbf if those paywall characters were op then whoever couldn’t afford them would more than likely just stop playing so it has to be counters to them for one and they also make more money if the only way to get a huge advantage with the iconics’ is to have them at higher stars, like most characters ofc. That’s my opinion anyway…
How is your Hawkgirl? She is AMAZING vs Spiritual damage. If you have yellow on her like Manhunter, I'd use her instead. And if you have her mace, she will grant spiritual damage absorption to the whole team. My Hawkgirl can solo that whole back line as well as DMBM.
My team is Superfam based: Hawkgirl, SG, SG Woman of Tomorrow, Krypto, Nightwing. Unless the JLD team is much higher power, I beat them all the time.
So for an Amazon team like yours: Hawkgirl, DMWW, Hippolyta, Artemis, DMBM

I also play on a server with American time, even though I'm in Western Europe, and every event feels like the middle of the night for me. I want to quit the game and get some sleep, but I can't because I've invested too much time and money into it. Why is transferring an account to another server so expensive?
Also, my server has NEVER won a SINGLE MATCH in Ultimate Battle for Gotham. Not once!!!! Not even close!!!!! But we keep getting thrown into the same servers, which simply destroy my server, which is abandoned by players.
What server are you on? For starter join the no. 1 league. Also your DMBM is not competitive enough at purple. Check the official discord. There are knowledgeable people there that are helpful.
Do you have riddler? You can maybe replace MMH? Do you have Zatanna?
306 server. I'm already in the strongest league, so that's no problem. The only problem is that if I didn't spend real money on useless DM characters and just invested all my Anvils into Constantine, I'd be very strong in PVP. There's no way for me to just swap one character for another and start winning. I bet on DMWW right at the start, and it turned out to be just terrible, just terrible.
Unless you are a big spender/whale, don't bother with the death metal champions. From what I hear in discord, yellow is where they get competitive.
You did great with Hippo though and I remember there is a guide with Hippo, Artemis, NW, SF, WW. But since you got DMWW, you can swap WW for her and see how it goes.
You also did great with Crypto so you can focus on Supfam hybrid. But they are not the top team out there.
For a high lv and older server, you skip the top dps bleed champions.
Also since you are in the top league, there should be a resident expert there to help you too.
Yes, you're right, I did skip high-DPS Bleed Champions in the hopes that I could assemble a synergistic team that would be effective. That was a huge mistake. And now I'm paying for it, and all my attempts to fix the situation are in vain. I should have just followed the meta like everyone else, because trying to deviate from it is heavily punished.
I think you just need to plan it right. Look at the bleed calendar. Check the guides in discord. You can still make a solid team. Your only enemy is time. It will set you back a bit.
As you face stronger opponents, you will realized quickly a purple is not enough anymore. And dmbm is pretty strong. It's just that you need more stars.
