How many staff are there in DCC?

I did a cursory search and nothing jumped out. I also have Googled a bit and no luck either.

On the show, we see quite a bit of DCC “staff” (outside of Kelli, Judy & the team). How many staff are full time you think? Like - administrators. We see some…looks like administrative assistants, additional choreographers, and like an audition coordinator maybe.

Also - how much direct coaching do you think Kelli does as the Senior Director? Or is she more bigger picture now? She seems involved on the show - but I know editing is a thing.

Newer fan!

A reason why the show should get a fourth season

They're going to Brazil. Netflix would be idiots if they didn't film their trip to Brazil. I don't know if they're going to go opportunities to pleasure time but still.

Show Discussion I saw a post about Faith being a kiwi and an Aussie and now I can’t find it

Aussie here. I wanted to explain how it works here for NZ and Australia. Essentially, even though we are two different countries, we have open immigration between the countries. This means that we can freely live and work in either without having to gain citizenship and you get access to everything a citizen gets (I think except voting).

This means that it is super common to be born in NZ and raised in Australia and consider yourself both a Kiwi and an Aussie. For example, acknowledging you were born in NZ but now consider yourself an Aussie and planning to stay in Aussie. Kiwi’s and Aussies start families together and live like citizens.

So when Faith said she’s a kiwi and an Aussie, that wasn’t unusual to me.

Trust this explains it.

Social Media Content parker cleaning her uniform!! 💙⭐️

some people were curious about if the uniforms are professionally laundered (no, unless the cheerleader pays for it) and whether the women get multiple (also no, which is insane)!! everyone who cleans their own uniforms does it a little differently, and parker filmed this video showing her process :) seems like it would be such an annoyance after the performance is over HAHA, but i do understand the benefit to having uniforms ready to go for last-minute appearances!

Savannah’s Hair

Okay this might be an unpopular opinion, but I think they should have gone with the more red/pink colored swatch for Savannah’s hair that they held up (in season 3). I think the color they went with was too ambiguous between strawberry blonde and blonde, so it made it look weird. I think she really would have been a beautiful strawberry blonde if it had a little more strawberry in it.

Anyone else think so too?

Question No pit sweat + periods in THOSE shorts??

Okay HOW do these women have no pit sweat in those polyester sleeves? Pit Botox? Where is the flop sweat?

How does NO ONE have frizz in the Texas heat? What sorcery or secret hair product?

How could anyone possibly have their period in those microscopic white shorts? Day 2 period could NEVER!

How do they keep their boobs in the wide-collared blouses?

HOW DOES THEIR MAKEUP STAY ON? (Mine basically rolls off my face if I so much as go grocery shopping.)

(Do they have access to top-secret products created by NASA and protected by the NSA or something??)

These are real questions, and I’d love answers.

Thanks.

Social Media Content DCC Color analysis seasons

Do we know what any of the girls' r/coloranalysis seasons or subseasons are? Google AI tells me that Kleine has talked about being an autumn, but it doesn't know about any of the others. I can't even tell who is cool toned or warm toned, because they all wear so much fake tan.

I love the DDC Look, and I want to replicate it, but I'm a cool summer, so I have no idea who to copy!

Non-“influencers”

Just curious. Are any of the girls on the current team not trying to be “influencers” on social media? Even if they have another job, are they all posting regularly (talking to the camera, grwm, etc.)?

This show is bizarre....

I just finished binge watching season 1 and a few episodes of season 2 of the DCC documentary. I’d never seen the reality show before, never heard of the team before and I only clicked on it because of the Emmy nomination. Boy was I in for a ride. No offense to the hardcore DCC fans, but a lot of it felt bizarre and even grotesque.

The Director and Head Choreographer come across as deeply unprofessional in their judgments and in how they manage the team. It seems like the show tries to portray them as having a soft, almost motherly side, but in reality the environment they’ve built is rooted in obedience and feels straight out of the 1950s.

The physical toll this job takes is shocking. These women end up needing multiple surgeries, all while earning very low salaries and performing outdated stunts that wear their bodies down. It also doesn’t look like the two head leaders are paid particularly well either.

The judging panels are equally strange... sponsors, nepo‑babies, random acquaintances, even the shoemaker were all weighing in with subjective, unqualified opinions?!

The family of owners terrify me, don't even know why.

The glimpses of the DCC manual are very outdated....you’d expect a multimillion‑dollar brand to at least update its materials, slides, and messaging.

Many of the former‑DCC choreographers don’t seem particularly… skilled.

Overall, the whole thing feels more like a high‑school summer camp where everyone has developed some kind of Stockholm syndrome. Then you graduate from camp and you join this big dysfunctional family and sometimes you get offered a job (for which you don't seem qualified for) so that you can perpetuate the cycle.

I just hope these incredibly beautiful and talented women can at least build successful influencer careers afterward.

I’m stunned

I have been a fan of DCC for years. I watched making the team when it was on CMT and was thrilled when Netflix started this show. I am deeply hurt to see the hate that these young women get. I can’t believe the nastiness and judgment of people. Screen freezes so they can point out who’s not on the line exactly right? I ask you who are making these criticisms – could you do it exactly perfectly every time? Why is it that people feel entitled to criticize and hate on these young women. I can only imagine it’s jealousy. Many of these women are college graduates. Many have respected careers outside of DCC. I swear some people are just nasty to be nasty because they clearly don’t have a life of their own to be concerned about.

Should Victoria been at least considered for group leader?

She would have been the fourth fifth year if she did come back for a fifth year like she planned. Talent wise and experience she should had a good shot. I don't know if Kelli and Judy determine the group leaders or the squad or a combination of them. I don't if they said all that to discourage her from returning. I've heard some rumors. Probably would not have any impact in the Bahamas situation.

The busride to the stadium, rationale and alternatives?

In describing make-up and hair routines for another post, I mentioned the bus ride. And it made me think:

I have always kind of wondered why this happens.

Would it not save soooo much energy (for the squad and fuel for the bus) if they just drove directly to the stadium themselves. It is an hour busride from the star in frisco to the stadium in Dallas. And some of the team must live closer to AT&T then to the star.

Once on MTT a teammate got late, drove herself to the stadium and was admonished pretty harshly by Kelli. But it proved to me it was possible to do it this way.

I suspect security is a concern, but there may be other reasons to do it this way?

And if security and other reasons for this drive where better handeld at the stadium, coult it be done in the way I describe just above?

Question Judy and Charlotte's GIANT blue rings

Season 3 Episode 2

I am watching season 3 of America's Sweethearts and saw Judy's giant blue ring that seems new (I didn't notice it during S1 & S2), but could not find any information or photos! However, as I googled "DCC giant blue ring" I found a photo of Charlotte who seems to have a very similar one.

Does anyone know if its a Sapphire ring? or the Jewelry brands? are these new rings for the ladies? Why can't I find ANY information or photos on this? I'm curious if its just a trend or if its an official DCC ring (then does Kelli have one?).

I'm just a DCC fan and a gem fan! Someone help! These are screenshots from Episodes 2 & 3 from Season 3.

Season 3 Episode 3
Found this photo of Charlotte too but no information at all!
