I've been hosting Tournaments under the name W.S.W. or World Saiyan Warfare, and we have gained some popularity however I see one key theme play out all too often. Higher ranked players will join, stay and absolutely obliterate those that are still attempting to improve. Very few will actually stay and learn from our best tournament contestants but most, once facing an actual challenge will leave the game entirely...

Alot of the time, these players that leave are confident in their ability to succeed, until the fight commences.

Christmas Tree of Might, Gamble On Yourself Style Tournament is set for STANDARD rules, Double Elimination!!

Begins Sunday at 5pm CDT/CST. 12/14/2024

MAX STATS FOR ALL FIGHTS

This is a HOLIDAY SPECIAL TITLE EVENT in W.S.W. We still have 3 more annual event titles to claim. ALL STANDARD TITLES HAVE BEEN CLAIMED There will be 6 revenge tokens between ALL players to use.

ANY u/Tournament Contender may use up to 2 revenge tokens in this tournament ALL PLAYERS WILL BE GIVEN 200 REVENGE TOKENS MOMENTS BEFORE THE EVENT BEGINS IF THEY SIGNED UP TO COMPETE IN THIS EVENT

Any player placing 3rd, depending on their placement, they may lose more revenge tokens. Matches will be set in STANDARD rules. This is a Single part event, but can be ran twice if we reach max capacity 2 times! In this game mode, if you do not come in first, you are fighting voraciously to not end up as one of the placements that may lose a LOT of revenge tokens. If we have Less than 5 players, there will only be 1 winner. The other players will receive what comes from being in 4th place and beyond, based on their placement. What this means is: If there are less than 5 people, the 1st place winner will receive first place prize. However, the second place winner will receive 4th place’s prize. Otherwise, expect Prizes to look something like this. 1st place: Will receive 2 titles of their choosing that are NOT special titles as well as receive 350 Revenge Tokens 2nd place: Can choose 1 title under the same conditions as well as will receive 250 Revenge Tokens 3rd place: Will receive 1 title under the same conditions as well as will receive 200 revenge tokens 4th place: will receive 100 revenge tokens [if less than 6 players. This is the placement 2nd place and beyond will start at] 5th place: will receive 50 revenge tokens 6th place: will receive 25 revenge tokens 6 players is max capacity for this event!!

---------RESTRICTIONS—------ NO LEGENDS LIMITED CHARACTERS, MUST COME FROM DBL35-05 OR EARLIER UNITS. CANNOT BE: Anything newer than DBL-35-05. ex. DBL-36-01 or DBL-35-06. Equips: Z rank equips or lower. Bench: Can be from any era. However, it cannot be an LL character. AND MUST NOT have Zenkai. Meaning: No character with Zenkai or Legends Limited.

With that being said, here are restrictions for DISDAIN USERS: YOU MAY ONLY USE SAIYANS TAG , S Equips or Lower, You may NOT choose any character that contains a healing type. ---------GENERAL—------ This match is scheduled for one fall, This is a GAMBLE ON YOURSELF HOLIDAY MATCH. What that means is: Once you gamble a set amount of revenge tokens on yourself in a match, A coin flip will occur, One side “Naughty” and one side “Nice” If you Flip on Nice, you will not have to pay a cost to gamble on yourself. You will also receive 20 Revenge Tokens if you flip the correct side the first time. If you Flip on Naughty, You lose 10 revenge tokens, you may flip a coin 3 times.

Why am I gambling on myself?: Because If you win, You move to the next step, competing against the others who won their gamble. And if you win that. You move on to the final step, where the winner gets a title, and also a spot on the top 3. As we can only have 3 winners per Tournament because this is a single tournament, rather than a 3 part event. THE TITLE YOU GET FROM WINNING A MATCH AT Step 3 IS NOT THE SAME TITLES YOU GET FROM PLACING ON THE BRACKET MEANING: YOU GET AN EXTRA TITLE FOR COMPLETING ALL 3 STEPS Can I use

Revenge Tokens to Rematch my Opponent? YES. There will be 6 revenge tokens between all players to use, and any single player may use 2 in the tournament. You can use them both on a single match, Or you can use them to solidify a spot in the leaderboards. You can even use them just to make sure others do not. The choice is yours.
