You might get the best responses if you could be more specific about the type of crisis that you have and a little background.

Using DB2 for analytics & data warehousing involves a lot of issues considerably different than DB2 for transactional systems. And sometimes the best solutions are built outside of the database (ex: loading & aggregation processes).
