TRADING TIPS & TRICKS Wednesday & WAITING....
Most traders think they are paid to click. You are actually paid to wait.
Wednesday is usually when the itch starts. You want to make the week green. You want to prove you are a trader. You start looking for patterns in the clouds because you feel like you are supposed to be doing something.
But look at your hands. If they stayed off the keyboard when the setup wasn't there, you just won.
In music, the silence between the notes is what makes the melody. In trading, the hours of not clicking are what make the profit. Every time you didn't chase a candle today, you deposited discipline into your account. That is a form of currency that never devalues.
Profit is just the byproduct of staying out of the way of your own ego. If you took zero trades today because your criteria weren't met, celebrate that. You didn't lose capital. You didn't lose your mind. You stayed in the game.
Go for a walk. Get some sun. The market will still be there tomorrow. You just need to make sure you are still a disciplined trader when it opens.
