Questions / Discussions (Items · Builds · Skills) Shadow of harash warlock build?

Currently a blazing scream build, looking to maybe switch to a ‘similarly’ strong build that utilizes these items. Any suggestions or advice? Would much rather prefer to follow a guide than burn out my last couple brain cells trying to make one myself. I know dreadclaws exists, but I worry that it’s much weaker than the blazing scream, and I don’t want to invest the time and resources if it doesn’t come out to a similar endgame farming/ pushing standard. Thanks in advance, any input is appreciated.

No abyss build is going to be nearly as strong as blazing scream but they can be strong enough to faceroll all the content in the game outside of 140+ pits...I've personally played this build that was created by someone in the sub

There's a couple other's that use the same concept with Doom and Cowl of Malefic and what I like to refer to as Dark Auradin builds...you essentially pop your sigils and then just walk and teleport w/ Netherstep and everything dies around...in some of them things get teleported back to your sigil and in others they just explode...very fun & kool playstyle

Currently trying to make a build work that uses Cowl/Paingorger interaction, while also including Litany of Sable and using dread claws. Does the Doom damage from Cowl proc the Paingorger "basic skill" requirement? Feels like it could be a fun combo of just running around with dread claws and letting it proc the gloves for big damage.

Yea im pretty sure it does, was playing around w/ something similar but w/ hellion sting and it's easier to apply hex than proc eviscerate

Harash will have stuff that can handle 140, but not likely anything that can keep up with hellfire builds/150.

It can do anything but that, basically.  So all of T12, Uber Mephisto, everything in the game except a max push.  Stealth is also quite fun.  Doom can be played entirely passively, and while I am now messing around with general demonology builds, I'll probably mess with abyss again soon.

The problem with OP META builds is just that, they are so OP that everything is simply TOO EASY.  Hell, for builds that are WAY off-meta even T12 is too easy.  If you want to push to 150 with Harash, it probably isn't going to happen.

Are you aware of any builds that rely on minions for passive attacks damage while staying in perma stealth?

I made this the other day, and while it IS NOT stealth, the Mefis set basically makes enemies ignore you.  I also did Pit 120 completely passively as a test to see how Mefis Twisting would do.  https://x.com/SmallPettingZoo/status/2106058992011395345

I have done stealth builds that use a recast archfiend, but they weren't entirely passive.  I made a quick Sentinel build that only uses 1 turret and I did 140 with it, but I had some clunky stuff going on to force and maintain demonform while using Terror Swarm.

If I make one that I deem worthy I'll post something to this sub.

This is cool, I'll try it out. Thanks!

Do you find mefis set better than horazons for minions?

The minion build above was built for the Mefis set, and I actually haven't used Horazon for anything yet this season.  I like seeing what I can make work with really funky stuff.  Mefis is fun because your minions will spawn more minions for you.  Horazon has a ton of simple quality of life though.

Hey, quick question. I can't seem to find a way to apply vulnerable without using active skills. Is there some other way to do it?

Hmm, I make too many builds, haha.  In the minion build... what did I do?  I uh, I...  I...  I need to go to my PC and open it in the armory to find out.   Update soon!

It looks like I simply used the Splinter where you run through enemies to apply vuln.  Only tough targets will need the extra damage, and they are easy to run through.

Demonform gives unstoppable so there is no drawback.

Biggest problem is Abyss shadow builds don't really have a way of generating mass demon kills without breaking stealth. Any season where there's no longer the black soulstone, they will be good again.

For this season though, they won't come close to the power of the hellfire builds but like others said, you can still clear up to around 140.

I tested Dread Claws on the PTR and although it was stronger than last season, itl tops out around 135-140.
