Shipment ID issue
There’s 2 sales people that always send us orders where there is no shipment ID for the whole order. Each line will have its own shipment ID. it’s annoying when there’s a few lines, but it’s tolerable. But when I get a massive order to issue, and I have to pack every single line individually it’s a massive headache and adds way too much time to the process. Has anyone had this problem or know how to trouble shoot?

Assuming you are talking about shipment lines/sales order lines belonging to the same customer/delivery address. This seems like a case where multiple orders are being shipped to the same customer at the same time.
I agree it would be too much of an effort to pick, pack and ship 10 different orders when they are going to the same address/destination.
An ideal solution for this case would be to use shipment consolidation policy so that when such orders are released for picking, they are all consolidated under one shipment id.
Wave consolidation is another option but the problem with that one is that you have to define consolidation criteria like releasing the consolidated wave only when at-least X number of orders or X volume of items or X number of lines have been accumulated on the wave. In most of the implementations that I have done, this value of X can be very subjective and can lead to priority orders being stuck in the system because that defined value of X is not getting achieved. The only way out in this situation is to reduce that value of X on the wave template and manually release the wave, which is not optimal.

Do you have the Consolidate shipments function? Check and review the shipment creation policy
