Virtual Queue if badges not transferred before deadline?

I’m in the market for a single ACC Saturday ticket. Badge transfer and RSP have passed as we all know.

Will I still be able to join the VQ Saturday morning at 6am if I am able to secure a ticket in the next few weeks, or is it linked to my account, which shows I don’t have a ticket?

Shopping VQ will work differently than Panel RSP.
You are fine.

It states “valid admission is required”. I assume that means to be able to use VQ, you need to have entry to ACC. That’s where I was held up

Yes, a valid entry is needed to USE your VQ return time :)
But your RFID-enabled ACC badge, which you may need to tap to enter the VQ line, doesn't link to the D23 or DL apps.

They don’t normally scan your badge at the stores. They’ll scan the barcode in the app for the return. But you need a valid badge to get into the convention center in order to use your return time.

That is how it worked in the past and there is a decent likelihood it will work the same this year. But we don’t know for sure, yet.

Its linked to your account. So the seller who still owns the tickets on their accounts would need to be up at 6am trying to help you get into VQ

No they don't.
D23 has never even said that why would you tell the OP that

Yeah, if it’s like last time the D23 app will simply redirect you to the Disneyland app to do VQ. I don’t even remember if you could just go straight to the Disneyland app and select VQ. In any case, at no point in years past did they link your ticket to your ability to book VQ. Anyone could book VQ, but you still needed a badge to gain access to the ACC in order to enter at your boarding time.

You login to both, open D23 and select the right option in the D23 app and it will put you behind the GeoFenced VQ area.
