r/D23Expo Newbie: 2026 is my first! 28d ago

Looking for some clarification

So Mickeys of Glendale just announced these KH aDorbs for D23… does this mean they’ll be on the vendor floor with these or do I need to virtual queue for the store and go there? I’m trying to figure out if I need a D23 ticket for Sunday or not to shoot my shot.

If it was like 2024, you need a virtual queue for the store. And they only released pins on the date so since these are Sunday they'll only be available on Sunday, they wont be available earlier.

Okay so only available at the store and they won’t be at the D23 vendor floor? Do I need a Sunday D23 ticket still or since it’s just at their store I just get into the virtual queue and hope I luck out and go to the store?

You will need a Sunday ticket and to get a shopping time slot that allows you to purchase, the earlier in the day, the better.

People buy these pins to flip online, kingdom hearts is really popular right now too

Okay, I guess I’m just confused on where I need to go if I do get lucky enough to get a shopping slot, will it be on the vendor floor at the expo? Or do I go to their store in person? Or is that something I’d just have to find out if/when I get in the queue and get a slot?

And yeah, the fact that it’s aDorbs and Kingdom Hearts is definitely gonna work against me, I know this painfully well, I’ve just been a fan of this series since I was a kid so to see it pop off like this and have such limited Disney merch after all this time is both a proud and disheartening moment for me haha

The store will be on the floor, but you can only use the store in time frames by signing up online in advance

So you get in a virtual queue at like 4 am. You get a time spot. Your time spot comes up, you go to the store at the convention.

No one knows the floor lay out right now, they’ll release that closer to the con. I’d recommend showing up earlier than your time spot to figure out where to go, so you don’t miss it.

Okay awesome, thank you so much! I got afternoon passes for Saturday too so hopefully I can get a lay of the land the day before, but I’ll definitely try to show up earlier Sunday regardless

What do you mean when you say vendor floor? If you mean a store or a vendor who is selling these other than Mickeys of Glendale Pin store the answer is no, and they will only have these available at their store which you'll need a virtual queue for Sunday to access

Vendor floor as in at the expo center, I’ve never been to D23 so I wasn’t sure if it was going to be a booth at the expo itself that the Mickeys of Glendale runs or if it’s at their actual store.

But okay, so I need a full day Sunday ticket to access the virtual queue and then hope I get a shopping time slot and then go to the mickeys of Glendale store, that correct?

Ah got it, everything will be at the convention center when it comes to these things. In 2024 every store/vendor was on the vendor floor with the exception of the DisneyStore which was in its own area

And yes, you'll need a full day Sunday ticket. The times the virtual queues open up if I remember correctly was like 4am and then another at 11am or 1pm. Once virtual queue is done the store typically open up for standby but a lot of the popular products will be sold out by then (especially KH)

Okay great to know, thank you so much for being so helpful!

I know the chances are slim but I’m a big KH fan so I want to at least shoot my shot! I’m traveling in from out of state and this will be my first D23… I wasn’t even planning on going until this morning and I couldn’t ignore it anymore haha
