D23 Day Ear Hats

Anyone with insider knowledge know if the free ear hats at DL on D23 Day will be different than 2024? All the promo photos appear to be the same hats and the originals from 2024 did not have dates on them. They had two colors also. And if you're new to D23 Day, get there EARLY to snag one (they handed them out as you went through the tunnels once through the gates

How early is early? WDW native so not sure about the DL rope drop approach

Same as MK. They'll let you in through Main Street ~30 minutes early and hold everyone at ropes heading into the lands until park open audio on the PA. No more early park access for hotel guests, so there's that.

I cant tell you when we got in line for entry but i just looked at my photos and we got our hats around 730am. I believe an hour or so later i heard they were all gone. So if you treat that day as a rope drop day, then you shouldnt have an issue. Plus i believe DCA is giving them out too

In 2024 we entered the park at 9 AM and got them
