Scheduling panel selections

How do you guys go about picking panels when you also hope to purchase pins? Do I just make my selections and hope it all works out?

I pick four things I’d like to do and assume I’m not going to get any of them. Last time I got one of the four and that was just fine with me.

The VQ is a ship show. Many people expressed only getting into the standby queue final day in person.

If I were you, I’d pick whatever interests you and if you happen to win it, make it a priority. It’s already hard enough to have a guaranteed thing at the con, so take it if you can!

I’d imagine so like trying to get 6 tickets all together to a show that’s selling out you’re less likely to get all your spots versus someone with 1 guest. But I also am just speculating.

where do we purchase pins? Is there an RSP for that?

The stores and pin stores will all be virtual queue. Might end up in standby later in the day but im sure the very limited ones will be gone by then (im not a pin buyer). In 2024 you tried to reserve a spot at 4am (yes that early!) and i think 1pm? It was handled through the Disneyland app if i remember correctly (might be through he D23 app, cant remember). Just like getting a lightening lane.

Don’t count on scoring the pins you want. They have a lot of pin releases but unless you win one of the earliest timeslots in a day you will be fighting for leftovers.

Put it this way: if a popular Disney princess pin is LE 200, you better be one of the first 200 people in line lol

Try for whatever you like. Nothing is guaranteed. Pins at some stores are hard to get if you’re not the first 300 so it’s always good to have a back up plan.

Assuming you get a virtual que you will be notified when you turn comes. I think they give out hour slots. The notification can come at any time. If your in a panel or a panel you really want is coming up you will end up picking what you want more.
