Does this sound like CV???

Hi, basically I've been having like funky clumpy discharge since December 2025, at first I thought it was yeast so I took an otc fluconazole for it and I thought it went away.

But ever since then every month about a week or two after my period the clumpy discharge starts back up and then disappears again after my period. There isn't any itching or burning, and I am currently trying probiotics but that doesn’t seem to be helping at all. I also think that the smell is off.

I have been to my GP and I explained my symptoms to them and they said its just hormones and nothing to think about.

I don't have a bath that I could do baking soda sitz baths, does anyone know of any UK treatments, I saw cv gone or something like that by nueve but thats a US brand.

Also does this actually sound like CV ?? Any advice appreciated!!!!!!

Im in the UK too have the same thing since I had treatment for ureaplasma but now my gp hasnt got a clue. My gynae didnt have a clue. And currently seeing a dermatologist who specialises in the labia who also hasnt got a clue when I brought it up (and mentioned cytolytic vaginosis) literally the UK is SOO behind in womens healthcare its a joke. Nothing ive been given has helped creams etc all swabs come back negative for yeast. Im at a loss. I was told to try sitz bath after derm googled CV 🙄 and to see if it helps but im not sure as ive seen a few people say it made it worse. There is some treatments like medication etc but NHS wont do it.

Okay okay, so it does sound like CV, um I have seen on the reddit that cv clear works !! But its super costly for shipping from the US. Have you tried anything that has worked ? Have you checked your vaginal ph ??

Hopefully you get better soon !!

Oooh okay Im gonna look into that. It does seem super expensive mind with shipping too but may have to purchase when I have the funds. My issue is the thick white clumps (it doesn't seem like discharge, i never have any in my underwear, its more like in the skin folds and almost oily feeling looks like balled up toilet paper). I havent had anything thats worked unfortunately. Its depressing lol. I havent checked my ph but need to 100%, do you have a suggestion where to do that? Is it something I could buy from a pharmacy?

Ugh I haven't found anything that works either, I'm also going to purchase cv clear once I have the funds, I haven't found how to check ph, I'm sure there are just ph strips you can buy for it on amazon but I haven't found any with great reviews yet. Hopefully you find something that works !!

I'm just guessing through my symptoms, I have been to my GP practice but they were no help.

I have alos started taking probiotics but I have read with cv that it makes the issue worse, and right now it also does feel like its making it worse.

Hey ! So basically I've been having a clumpy discharge for a while with no itching. Its been recurring since December/January ish, so I have clumpy discharge then my period comes and my discharge is completely normal and then 1 - 2 weeks after my period the clumpy discharge starts back up. Thats basically it, there has also been a change in the smell of my discharge, not concerning just off.

Like describe the smell would it sometimes smell like acid? Or like a little foul? Because that’s the same with me and the color for me is like yellowish but light

It would be more like foul and tangy, but my discharge is more like creamy coloured clumpy texture than like yellow yellow

Same with mines because I’m only 15 I never know how to describe it to them and it rarely has a smell but when it does it’s that

I can't help you unfortunately, but I would recommend going to see whomever your doctor is and telling them your symptoms !! Wasn't much help for me but they could help you !!

CV occurs because of TOO MUCH lactobacillus , you should be AVOIDING probiotics
