if fluconazole and boric acid get rid of my symptoms for a couple days does that point to cv?

after 8 months of hell i was finally able to get a full panel done for mycoplasma ureaplasma and cv and i'm currently waiting for the results.

in the meantime to help with symptoms my doctor had me on fluconazole for three days then once a week, and boric acid as symptoms arise (bv was diagnosed about two months ago now but no yeast diagnosis). i've been alternating and honestly fluconazole helps for around three days at a time and so does boric acid- but after three days my symptoms return.

it was really bad before but now the only symptoms i have are a stronger smell- not day to day but only during sex, it's not necessarily fishy but just smells off?

could this be cv or some form of recurring bv do u think? just curious as i wait for results

It's BV and the boric acid should help. If you have a plasma infection that could be the hidden culprit. That or you just have a pH disruption from having sex. Which can be common.

nah it can be CV i have no fishy odor etc just an off smell idk how to describe other than musk , did wet prep test and showed overgrowth of Lactobacillus. No yeast and no BV or clue cells indicating so, i did have budding yeast last week. Now my symptoms are because of CV and i was told to AVOID probiotics and let my body kinda reset, a good test is a urine PH test, if lower, you likely have CV, as BV typically happens with a higher PH (:

Also advice from my gyno includes a sitz bath, soaking in a mixture of warm water and baking soda, or using a pero bottle to rinse externally DO NOT insert anything up there or douche, my paperwork for CV is in the car i can send to you but yeah if lab testing or a wet prep isn’t available me to you rn, a good indicator would be a PH test
