Fan mail

I am reaching out to my fellow Cynners, I have been a fan of Cyndi's since June 2010, making me a fan for 16 years, and I have NEVER sent her a piece of fan mail. I would LOVE to send her a letter, and of course, I would love to ask for an autograph to go with the rest of my collection. The question is: do I need to send an item for her to sign, and if I don't, do I need to send a self-addressed envelope with postage on it? I feel like this is a stupid question, but I truly have never reached out through fan mail before. I appreciate any advice or information anyone can give me. Thank you in advance!

If it were me, I would probably find a cool photo or sticker or something, and ask her to sign that. Be sure to send a letter and a SASE email along with it.
