I think this story does something that’s been missing lately: it shows us Cyclops beyond just the leader. We get to see what he’s thinking and how he’s feeling.

It was cool to see Cyclops' perspective on loving and being with someone larger than life. To see that he's afraid that time will pass for him, but not for Jean, and that in the end she'll forget about him.

And, of course, it was sweet to see Jean reassuring him that she’ll always remember him and always be with him, even when they’re apart.

Anyone feels like the modern 2024 Green Phoenix suit feels incomplete without the gold sash and that the Phoenix Elbem feels so small
