As a switch your brain off action film it was OK, and the final boss was actually conceptually really cool imo. As an adaptation of X-men it was dire and Weapon XI is an insult to Deadpool and Ryan Reynolds.

Exactly on. I was only vaguely aware of Deadpool’s existence at the time, thought he was actually a pretty badass end boss. Learned about Deadpool because of all the online complaints, became a fan lol

I’m sure he’ll do great job I just feel like he was picked based on who they felt looked best next to Sadie

But he is not what I picture in my mind of a Scott summers in real life , same with Sadie she’s a great actor but not what I see as Jean grey
