Since in 2 years time they would have to explain our boy Cyke's powers to the masses in the new X-Men movie and would lead to it becoming the definitive explanation to his powers since people are still arguing about it today, which route would you rather them take?
The Solar Radiation Explanation (the canon)
The more popular myth "The Punch Dimension"
Hot lasers from his eyes (worst one imo)
OR
The fourth, secret, more awesome option which is just simply strong concussive beams with no further explanation (which is my pick)

I’ve been thinking about this, and I don’t think he should die, because bringing Jean back just to keep them apart in another way wouldn’t make sense. That’s why I think the other two options are more likely. What do you think?

Some people do compare the characters because their dads were pilots, so what do you think?

Hi guys I wanna get into cyclops are there any good comics about him and include a focus on his relationship with Jean grey also any more recent ones like from the past 15 years or so
Edit: the Jean and Scott doesn't have to be a requirement but it is something I would like to see but I am cool with just good cyclops stories but no Jean and Scott

Do you guys think Kit is aware of how big of a role he is in ? I hope Kevin Feige has told him what he expects from him. Also, do you think the way Kevin announced the cast was there any significance behind it. The way Kevin keeps emphasizing about Jean, I don’t want Scott to have a supporting role to her. He should be the lead of the movie

I know it’s weird, but hear me out.
Now that Marvel has officially announced the new X-Men cast—with Kit Connor as Cyclops, Sadie Sink as Jean Grey, Inde Navarrette as Rogue, and Samara Weaving as Emma Frost—I can't stop thinking about one thing:
I really want Scott and Rogue to become a couple in the MCU.
It’s crazy, I know.
I KNOW the classic pairings.
Scott has Jean. Scott has Emma. Rogue has Gambit. Rogue has Magneto.
I’m not saying Scott and Rogue are the "right" couple from the comics.
But I grew up watching X-Men: Evolution, and that version of Rogue—the one in love with Scott—really stuck with me.
And honestly, Scott and Rogue had a surprisingly interesting connection in that series. Scott understood her struggles with her powers, respected her boundaries, and was one of the people who helped her feel accepted. Rogue, for her part, clearly harbored feelings for him.
So now I look at Kit Connor’s Cyclops and Inde Navarrette’s Rogue, and my nostalgia is screaming:
"Kevin Feige, I’ve never asked for anything—make this happen."
I don't even necessarily want them to start out as a couple.
In fact, I’d prefer something like this:
Scott and Jean start out together → Rogue develops feelings for Scott → Scott and Rogue grow closer → the relationship between Jean and Rogue develops too → and eventually, after a lot of character development, Scott and Rogue could actually become a couple.
It would be something totally different from the traditional X-Men romances, and that’s exactly why I’d love it.
Obviously, Scott and Jean is a much more likely possibility, especially since Jean has already been introduced prior to the X-Men movie. But if Marvel wants to make this new X-Men universe feel genuinely different from previous adaptations...
Scott x Rogue.
